River fielded a team of enthusiastic cricketers to support The LBW Trust's National Backyard Cricket T-10 Tournament on 26 March 2025 on the beautiful grounds of Parliament House in Spring Street, Melbourne. With thongs/flip-flops being the compulsory dress code!

River Capital first bought into Generation Development Group (GDG) in early 2023 after identifying the growth opportunity in GDG’s Investment Bonds business and Lonsec Investment Solution (LIS), which the market was under appreciating at that time.

Midway Limited announcement that the scheme of arrangement, under which RCM BidCo Pty Ltd (owned and controlled by funds managed and advised by River Capital) would acquire all of Midway's issued capital, was implemented on 18 February 2025.‍

River's Investment Committee had followed Pacific Current Group for many years and was always attracted to its high-quality business model, which benefits from infrastructure-like, contracted, annuity cashflow streams that come from fees charged on closed-end vehicles with long fund lives.

On 14 November 2024, Midway Limited announced they have entered into a binding Scheme Implementation Deed with RCM BidCo Pty Ltd (owned and controlled by funds managed and advised by River Capital Pty Ltd) for the acquisition of all shares in Midway.

River Capital once again supported not-for-profit organisation Flying Fox by participating in their Corporate Basketball Fun Day on 26 September 2024. The River Capital team played against 24 other teams from leading Australian businesses alongside Flying Fox participants and volunteers.
